MSC Consulting Group was involved in site works and structural work for a bulk retail development on a 13.4 hectare site in Pukekohe, adjacent to the town’s racecourse.
The bulk retail development in Pukekohe was a joint venture between the Pukekohe Racing Club and Dominion Funds. Retail heavyweights Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, Briscoes and Rebel Sports opened outlets at Stage One of the new park in 2007.
MSC Consulting was involved in both the site works and the structural work for the project, which sits on a floodplain. As a result of this, it involved the construction of a floodway, 250m of box culvert and a pavement set on soft, peaty soil. Much of the pavement was constructed of by-product from the Glenbrook Steel Mill.
