Indesco engaged MSC Consulting to undertake civil and structural design for a new private primary school built in Silverdale, north of Auckland.
KingsWay Primary School was built on a large sloping site that required MSC’s civil and structural input into landscaping and to provide access for vehicles and pedestrians to get around the site.
The school boasts multifunctional modern learning environments with courtyard spaces and two 1300m2 classroom blocks that each contain 12 open plan classrooms.
In addition to the classroom blocks, there is also a 1000m2 administration block providing a gymnasium, staffroom, cafeteria for use by parents and teachers, meeting and resource rooms, reception, sick bay and multiple store rooms.
