As Z Energy builds new stations, and remodels others throughout the country, MSC Consulting Group is involved in the design and documentation.
MSC has provided structural and civil engineering services to Z Energy for the past 20 years. Among the more recent projects completed for Z Energy are service stations at Te Rapa, Trentham, Palmerston North, Warkworth, Cromwell, and Christchurch.
MSC Consulting provided the structural and civil design for the Z stations’ shops and canopy. This included stormwater treatment, drainage, sanitary sewer, pavement design and assistance with Resource Consent.
“While the stations follow a standard layout, each station has its own challenges with regard to ground conditions, and structural requirements.” says project lead Mark Pollard.
